First Presbyterian Church

16 East Fifth Street Roanoke Rapids, NC

Welcome to our website!  Please look at this site as only a snapshot of who we are and what we do.  We hope you will come and be with us as we worship and work as God’s children. We are a congregation that loves each other.  We visit and take care of each other.

We are a congregation that embraces local mission and international mission as a way to live the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We try to make worship a meaningful experience so that the lesson you take away will help you live a life more faithful to the way God calls us to live.

We have opportunities for all ages to learn about God’s word-including a wonderful preschool program.

We also love to have fun together.

Take some time to look at our site and allow yourself to hear if God is calling you to us.  If so, we hope that you will come and worship with us.  Worship is just the starting point for what your life can be with us.  I wish you God’s blessings as you learn what God’s plans are for you.

If you are interested in participating in Godspell, Jr. registration forms are in the church office.

Looking for something to do on Friday nights this summer?  How would you like to watch a movie out under the stars?  Fridays, June 23, July 7 & 21 and August 11, Littleton Presbyterian Church will be showing family-friendly films for free during the summer on the lawn just behind the church, on the corner of Mosby Avenue and Halifax Street, in Littleton, NC.  Films start at dusk (approximately 8:30pm) and are free to the public.  Bring your own    blankets, bug spray and lawn chairs and arrive early to get a good spot.  Free snacks will be available during the   movie courtesy of the church. For more information, contact Littleton Presbyterian Church at (252) 586-7758.

While Joe is away, if you have a congregational care or concern, you may call the church office Tuesday - Thursday mornings.  At all other times, please contact Nancy Sandoval, chair of the Congregational Care Committee.
